Reliant responds as quickly as possible during business hours to storm-damaged homes across St. Louis and one hour beyond. We tarp, board up, document, and stop the bleeding. The permanent repair gets scoped and scheduled separately. Call (314) 529-0131.
The job after a storm is simple and limited: stop more water from getting in. Permanent repair waits — there's no point putting new shingles down on a deck you can't dry out, and there's no point having a carrier inspection happen while the roof is still drying. The emergency scope is mitigation, documentation, and a call for the next step.
We don't try to do the permanent roof during the emergency call. We don't try to hand you a contract while there's still water in the attic. We don't send a "supplement specialist" to talk to your carrier — under Missouri law that's not a contractor's role, and we keep that line clean (see the Hail & Storm Damage page for how the scoping side works).
Most homeowner policies in Missouri have a "protect from further loss" clause that obligates the homeowner to take reasonable steps to prevent additional damage — and reimburses the cost of doing so. Emergency tarping qualifies. We provide a clean receipt that the carrier can process through the claim.
A heavy poly tarp installed over open or compromised sections of roof to keep water out of the home until permanent repair can be scheduled. Properly installed (anchored, sandbagged, or screwed to the deck through 1x furring) it will hold for weeks.
We respond as quickly as possible during business hours when the storm hit recently. Major storm events queue calls in the order received, and we communicate ETAs as we go. Off-hours response is best-effort; voicemails left overnight are returned first thing in the morning.
Most homeowner policies in Missouri have a "mitigation" or "protect from further loss" clause that covers emergency tarping when storm damage is involved. Save the receipt — the carrier typically reimburses through the claim.
Phone is fastest for emergency response. Use the form if you can't get through and we'll call you back.
